CSRC and the High Precision Geodetic Network (HPGN) |
|
The High Precision Geodetic Network (HPGN) was established by the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and the National Geodetic Survey (NGS) as a statewide GPS control network. The CSRC was contracted as an independent consultant by Caltrans to analyze data collected from this network between June and August of 1998 (HPGN 1998) and in May of 2000 (HPGN 2000) after the Hector Mine earthquake.
