This is a hardware problem that Warren can repair here in Boulder, so we will obviously need Dr. Drobeck to saddle up a snowmobile to the top of Lake Mtn. with a replacement receiver.

cat2 20030529 teqc shows no observations in rinex files 20030608 receiver replaced
cat2 20031204 I was viewing various screens in RTKnet, I noticed that the data stopped streaming from SCMS and CAT2. I never selected "reset receivers" or anything like that. This morning we visited SCMS and the baud rate was indeed set to 300. That site is fixed. But not CAT2 which is located in a remote area on Catalina Island. I decided to shutdown GPSnet because I cannot risk this problem happening again. We have seen in the past that when GPSnet is initialized, every so often the baud rate at an OCRTN site will get reset from 56,700 to 300 bps. This stops the flow of data and the only way to reset the baud rate is to visit the site and manually set it. This has been reported to Trimble numerous times but they've never admitted that it's their software doing this. 20031210 john unwin travelled to site and manually set baud rate using laptop with commander software

vabg 20050514 We experienced a power failure which exhausted the both the main UPS system for the computer room and the 3-12v battery bank attached to the receiver as secondary power. Our systems engineer was able to bring the UPS power back up about 7 am yesterday morning. We lost about 13 hours of data in two gaps starting with epoch (05-5-14 22:3:30) to (05-5-15 2:17:49) then from epoch (05-5-15 2:23:14) to epoch (05-5-15 11:14:13). 20050515 I'm planning on switching to a local UPS for the receiver since I think it will have a higher availably and continuing to use batteries as a secondary power system.
